Privacy policy

pulsoFX has no accounts. We never ask for your name, e-mail or phone number, we do not sell data, and nothing we collect is used for advertising or to track you across apps.

Who is responsible

What we collect, and why

1. Rate alerts

If you allow notifications in order to create an alert, we store on our server:

• the push subscription identifier OneSignal generates for your device — a random identifier, not your name or e-mail address;
• the alert itself: the exchange house or "best rate", buy or sell, above or below, and the target rate.

Legal basis: your consent, given when you allow notifications and create the alert. You can withdraw it at any time by deleting the alert or turning notifications off in system settings.

2. Device integrity (App Attest)

So that only the genuine app can use our API, the operating system produces a cryptographic proof that the app has not been tampered with (Apple's App Attest). We receive one public key and signature per device. It does not identify a person, is shared with nobody and is never used for advertising.

Legal basis: legitimate interest in protecting the service from abuse.

3. Diagnostics and usage

The app uses Firebase Crashlytics (crash reports) and Firebase Analytics (usage counts such as which screen was opened, whether the chart period was changed, whether an alert was created). Firebase generates a random installation identifier and receives Apple's vendor identifier (IDFV). We do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), we show no ads, and we do not ask for tracking permission because we do not track.

Legal basis: legitimate interest in fixing crashes and understanding what is used. None of it is linked to your name, because we do not have your name.

4. Server logs

Like any web server, ours records the IP address, time and path of each request, for security and diagnostics.

Legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.

What never leaves your phone

Whether you are buying or selling, the calculator amount, the house you last opened, your widget configuration and the interface language stay on the device (and in your iCloud device backup, if you use one). We do not upload them.

Who else processes this data

International transfers

Our server is hosted in the United States (DigitalOcean, San Francisco region) and the processors above are US companies. If you write to us from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, your data is transferred outside that area under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, which are part of each processor's data processing agreement.

How long we keep it

• Alerts and their push identifier: until you delete the alert or uninstall the app. Alerts from devices not seen for more than 12 months are removed.
• Server logs: 30 days.
• Crash reports: up to 90 days in Firebase.
• Usage statistics: up to 14 months in Firebase.

Your rights

You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Because there are no accounts, the practical route is on the delete my data page: deleting an alert in the app removes it from our server immediately, and uninstalling the app ends everything else. You can also write to gsaenz@proatomicdev.com; we answer within 30 days at the latest.

If you believe we are handling your data improperly you can complain to your national authority: the Autoridad Nacional de Protección de Datos Personales in Peru, the AEPD in Spain, or your member state's supervisory authority in the European Union.

Children

pulsoFX is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If anything material changes we will update this page and the date above, and announce substantive changes inside the app as well.
